Debut release on Kookoo Records by Scottish producer/dj Ewan McVicar, a rising artist who’s been getting a lot of attention, being nominated in the Breakthrough DJ category at the DJ Mag Best of British Awards in 2020. We’re delighted to have this young rising star on our imprint.

“Back Tae Ayr” is an outstanding soulful House track, with an infectious rhythm that leads you to an euphorian climax, as soon as the drop hits. The disco-esque vocal samples really add a feeling of nostalgia and time travelling throughout the song.
